Kan Yasuda has held numerous exhibitions where his sculptures resonate across time and space with historical architecture, ancient ruins, and natural splendor. Notable projects include the “Sculpture Path” exhibition in Milan and exhibitions at iconic sites such as the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi and Trajan’s Market in Rome.
In 1992, Arte Piazza Bibai was established in his hometown in collaboration with the City of Bibai. Since then, driven by the vision of creating a space where visitors can experience art with a sense of freedom, tranquility, and mindfulness — enjoying the present moment as they wish — he has continued to install sculptures and enhance the space and its facilities.
Sculptor. Born in Bibai, Hokkaido, Japan. Kan Yasuda moved to Italy in 1970, creating sculptures in marble and bronze ever since at a studio in Pietrasanta, Tuscany, known for its marble production.
